TREATMENT MODEL

The Lakeridge Human Services Model for healing guides everything Lakeridge does for the community. From transitional housing and co-occurring disorder treatment, to telehealth and outpatient physical health clinical services, to feeding our residents AND our community, Lakeridge aims to wrap collective arms around the people we serve. And in doing so, lifting them up out of despair, and addiction, to new lives of purpose and fulfillment.
“Lakeridge provided structure, something that addiction did not, and it drew me out of darkness”. Jason came out of heroin/opiate addiction after the loss of his fiancé and his mother, in a few short months. He lost his job, his car, his home and ended up in a spiral where he needed a place to land. Lakeridge was that place. Within 2-3 months of being at Lakeridge, he was interning for a staff position. Lakeridge’s unique combination of housing, co-occuring disorder treatment and spiritual support helped bring Jason out of the darkness.
Now, Jason has a house, he’s married and has a child. While working through addiction, grief and loss is an everyday challenge, his work with Lakeridge helps him to help others – and keeps him focused on his own recovery.
